Research and policy committee

Mission: Ensure that PWUD in Surrey are represented in and empowered in political and academic spheres.

To achieve our mission, the Research and Policy committee:

• Builds awareness of current news, policy changes, and academic findings that are relevant to people who use drugs in Surrey; and

• Gathers data and evidence to inform our membership, governments, service providers and the public about issues experienced by people who use drugs in Surrey; and

• Plans actions related to policy priorities, as determined through research activities and input from SUDU’s members.
